Scientists' Unique Way To Repair A Spacecraft Orbiting Jupiter
It was impossible to replace the hardware of this spacecraft 595 million kilometers away
Engineers from the US space agency NASA have revealed that they have repaired the planet Jupiter using unique techniques from a bad camera era of JunoSpace craft.
Instead of changing the hardware of this space craft (which was impossible), at a distance of 59 million 5 million kilometers, a team of scientists deliberately raised the temperature inside the camera to eliminate the damage caused by rays.
Juno Cam, designed for only eight cycles, was surprisingly safe for more than 45 cycles, but his image quality deteriorated at the 47th cycle.
Engineers were suspected of having a problem in the Voltage Regulator, for which they decided to heat the camera to 25 degrees Celsius, which changed the silicone structure at the microscope level.
This risk solution proved to be effective and the problem once again raised its head, after which at the end of 2023, Jupiter’s moon Ivo was processed for the second time at high temperatures before flying.
