Thailand-Cambodia War Reminds Pak-India Tensions, US President Trump
Trump said talks with the Prime Minister of Thailand remained positive and both countries wanted ceasefire and peace.
WASHINGTON: US President Donald Trump has said that the ongoing tension between Thailand and Cambodia has reminded him of the past Pak-India conflict, the two countries want immediate ceasefire.

In a message posted on the social media platform “Turth Social”, Trump said that he had spoken to the Prime Minister of Cambodia, and now the acting Prime Minister of Thailand has also been contacted to persuade the two countries to ceasefire.
He added that the United States is currently having trade talks with the two countries, but as long as the war continues, there will be no agreement. Trump said he had given a clear message to the two sides that the United States would not make any trade agreement without closing the fight.
President Trump said talks with the Prime Minister of Thailand had been positive and both countries wanted ceasefire and peace. He said that soon matters would become clear and peace would be established in the region.
Trump also said that an immediate meeting and ceasefire has been agreed with Cambodia and Thailand under historical and cultural respect, and they are looking forward to completing trade agreements with them in the future.
