India: Woman Who Came for Home Guard Recruitment Gang-Raped in Ambulance

A ambulance has been reported in an ambulance with a 26 -year -old woman who is recruiting a home guard in Gaya district of the Indian state of Bihar.

Police say the woman was knocked unconscious while giving the home guard’s recruitment test, after which she was being shifted to the hospital by ambulance, in which several people were raped.

The woman alleged that she was unconsciously abused, after being conscious, she reported the incident to the police and the hospital administration.

Police have arrested two suspects ambulance driver Vinay Kumar and technician Ajit Kumar after lodging an FIR by the victim.

Police say CCTV footage has confirmed the movement and time of ambulance.

According to police, the investigation process has been intensified in view of the sensitivity of the case and medical and legal assistance is being provided to the affected woman.
