National Advanced Surface to Air Missile (Nasams)
The US State Department has approved the sale of $ 4 billion worth of weapons to Egypt.
According to foreign media, the US State Department will provide Egypt with the National Advanced Surface Two Air Missile (Nasams) MPQ-64 Sentinel Radar System, hundreds of missiles and dozens of guidance units.
The sale added that US government employees and contractors will also provide technical and logistic support to Egyptian forces.
Let’s say that the National Advanced Surface Two Air Missile (NASAMS) is a jointly designed system of the United States and Norway that can be used effectively against enemy aircraft, aerial drones and cruise missiles.
