US Secretary of State Unhappy Over France's Statement to Recognize the Palestinian State
French President Emanuel Macron has announced that France will recognize Palestine in September.
In his statement, he said that he would formally declare the Palestinian state in the General Assembly.
He added that this decision was made for fair and lasting peace in the Middle East.
On the other hand, the United States announced not to attend the UN -Israeli Palestinian two -state resolution conference.
The two -state solution conference will be held from July 28 to 29, with the conference being led by France and Saudi Arabia.
