The Israeli Parliament (Kinest) resolution to occupy the West Bank was approved.
According to reports received from the occupied Jerusalem, 71 votes in favor of the resolution and 13 in opposition, while 36 members were absent.
More than 5 million Israeli settlers are living in the West Bank.
The Palestinian leadership has reacted strongly to the Israeli parliament’s resolution. The Palestinian leader has termed the Israeli resolution a violation of international law.
