Bradford: A mother who used children in drug trafficking to 13 years' imprisonment
A mother who used children in drug trafficking in Bradford was sentenced to 13 years in prison.
A woman from Bradford was sentenced to 13 years 4 months in prison for smuggling a cocaine worth £ 14.4 million from Mexico using her children.
The 54 -year -old woman was sentenced to Birmingham Crown Court. He confessed to importing 180kg cocaine in May 2024.
According to Rick McNezi, a senior investigating officer at the National Crime Agency (NCA), the accused was an experienced drug dealer who was apparently living as a kind and loving mother.
The woman was arrested on November 11, 2024 at Birmingham Airport when she arrived at her four sons, daughter and daughter -in -law. There was a large quantity of cocaine in the suit cases brought with them.
Investigations revealed that it was the fifth time that the aforementioned group had smuggled the UK from August to November 2024. Their travel procedure was cleverly arranged, in which a short trip was booked by Amsterdam or Dublin, and on return, their return was arranged over time of flights coming from Kancon, so that they could easily obtain drug -filled bags.
The children and daughter -in -law of the woman involved in the case have also been sentenced.
