He inaugurated the newly constructed section, named ‘King Charles Three Wing’ in his honor, hosted the ‘King Charles Three Program’, which is a new initiative to work on the subject of the king’s personal beliefs and global issues.

The king was welcomed by Dr. Farhan Ahmad Nizami, director of the Center and Lord Hague, the new Chancellor of Oxford University.
Addressing the occasion, Shah Charles said that I was proud of this memorable birthday. The manner in which this center is adhering to the principles of knowledge, dialogue, mutual respect and global cooperation is more important in today’s world.
The founder of the Center, Dr. Farhan Nizami, said on the occasion that the importance of the institution has increased over time, and the need for these opportunities has increased. Now we have more responsibility to continue this process of dialogue and harmony.
The Oxford Center for Islamic Studies was established in 1985, but in 2012, Queen Elizabeth II gave her the royal charter. The organization also runs a Young Muslim Leadership Program for the training of young Muslim leaders and organizes conferences on global topics like the environment.
At the end of the tour, a reception was organized at King Charles Three Garden, where the king met interfaith representatives, experts and trustees.
Remember that King Charles is the patron of the institution. In 1993, he also came here as a guardian. At that time he made a historic address on religious tolerance.
