Netanyahu Calls Pope Liu After Gaza Church Attack Amid Global Outcry
Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu telephoned Pope Liu after Israeli church was targeted in Gaza.
The Vatican statement said that Pope Liu, in a conversation with Netanyahu, reiterated his appeal for ending the war in Gaza and expressed his concern over the dramatic humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip.
Pope Liu also emphasized the urgent need for the protection of synagogues, worshipers and all people in Palestinian territories and Israel.
It should be noted that three people were killed and several injured in a brutal attack on the church in Gaza in Gaza.
