US, Alaska, 7.7 Magnitude Earthquake, Tsunami Warning Continues
A tsunami warning has been issued in the US state of Alaska after a magnitude earthquake.
According to US media, no casualties were reported at the earthquake, but rescue agencies are active in different areas.
According to the German Research Center for Geo Sciences, the earthquake in the southern region of Sandpoint Sand Point came to a ten kilometer deep, after which the US tsunami warning system has issued a tsunami warning in certain areas.
The tsunami warning has been released from the Kennedy Entrance to the coastal areas of Alaska from Kennedy Entrance to areas from Unimak Pass, but later the US National Tsunami Center issued a clarification that the tsunami warning was not issued.
