Islamic Council Norway Leads Joint Call in Brussels to End Israeli Occupation of Palestine
In Brussels, the Islamic Council Norway, along with Muslim organizations in Europe, organized a historic and joint press conference in front of the European Parliament.
The joint press conference declared the genocide in Palestine strongly condemned.
The head of the Islamic Council Norway, Sahibzada Mohammad Masoom Zubair, is representing Norway in a joint move, aimed at promptly stop the Palestinian genocide and the end of Israel’s illegal occupation.
The joint statement states that these Muslim organizations in Europe represent millions of Muslims and more than 15,000 mosques across Europe.

The statement added that thousands of people, including women and children, have been lost directly and indirectly due to Israeli aggression. Medical facilities, basic necessities life and food supply system in Gaza have been completely suspended.
The joint statement also states that Israel’s use as a weapon and is fully against international human rights and laws. Continuous violations of Israel’s international human life’s international law are unacceptable.
Talking to Representative Ronah Jang, Sahibzada Mohammad Masoom Zubair said that the situation in Gaza is a scandal for the international community and it is a reminder that the support of occupation force, whether practically or the silent support of these crimes, is equal partnership in this abominable crime.
He said that we have to demand the prevention of Israeli attacks and ensure access to humanitarian aid, this joint operation in Brussels gives a strong message to European policy makers that the European Muslim community expects practical political measures to ensure international law.
Sahibzada Mohammad Masoom Zubair said that workers, media representatives of global organizations who provide aid, medicines and basic necessities to people are not safe from this barbarism.
He added that the silence of the international community on these humanitarian crimes is a question mark on the performance of human rights activists and their attitude is a cause for concern.
Gaza Declaration contains the following points:
1- Instant and permanent ceasefire under international surveillance
2- The release of all hostages and prisoners
3- Unprecedented access to humanitarian agencies to all parts of Gaza and shutting down arms supply to Israel by all countries that help in human rights abuses.
4- Supporting international courts to investigate war crimes and arrest criminals.
5- The recognition of an independent Palestinian state based on the borders of 1967 and a foreign policy that protects the human rights of the parties.
