Starmers and Macron Will Announce 'One -In, One Out' Immigration Agreement
British and France leader Prime Minister Kerry Starmer and President Emmanuel Macron will announce a “One -Out” immigration agreement on Thursday.
Under this plan, the UK will accept some refugees who cross the channel by crossing the channels through small boats. While the rest will be sent back to France.
The announcement will be made through a joint press conference in London at the end of Macron’s three -day official visit to the end of the United Kingdom. The nature of the deal: – Under a pilot scheme, the UK will send only 2,600 refugees back to France every year, which is about 6 % of the total arrival. The French government has requested more funds from the UK for additional police deployment on its northern coast, which is considered politically politically in the UK.
